I applied for 4 UCs and 4 CSUs. Each time I log in to my portal, it says my application is missing transcripts, am I suppose to wait for fall grades or do I send them transcript with grades in progress. I am Fall 2018 applicant btw.
For the UC’s: In January, you will submit a Transfer Academic Update with your finished grades for this term. You won’t actually submit transcripts until after your Spring term. (Unless things have changed.)
For the CSU’s: I have no idea.
Call the CSU’s and ask admissions.
I applied to Cal Poly and did not have to send transcripts, although Santa Clara University wanted high school right off. I think the privates do it differently and they all seem to want HS transcripts even if applying as a junior. Anyway, I know you don’t need transcripts for UC as a junior applicant until June - unless you are applying as a sophomore. If so, I believe they definitely want high school and maybe CCC.
Ok thanks. I think I am just going to call each school to be 100% sure.
I’ve applied to CSU Monterey Bay and they contacted me saying that they want my official transcripts from my CCC by March 8th. I was really confused because I thought the transcripts were requested only in case you’ve got approved as a transfer student. I guess every CSU handles this in a different way, so you better contact them to know the deadlines to submit your transcripts.
In case of CSU Monterey Bay:
The final deadline for submitting transcripts will be March 8, 2018.
If you have foreign transcripts, you must submit, a course by course evaluation of all transcripts and a translation if not in English. Evaluation can be requested by visiting one of the approved NACES members.
If you have AP Scores, please request official scores to be sent to our admissions office.
If you have previously applied to CSU Monterey Bay, you will need to resubmit all official transcripts to our admissions office.
All official transcripts must be received in order to begin your application review.
