sending AP score?

[# Submit a score or grade that meets the writing requirement.

Meet the writing requirement by submitting to the Admissions Office a minimum score/ grade of:
* 30 or better on ACT Combined English/ Writing Exam
* 680 on the SAT II Writing Exam
* 3 on an AP test in English
* 5 on the International Baccalaureate Higher Level English A exam
* 6 on the International Baccalaureate Standard Level English A exam
* C in a UC transferable (four- quarter or three-semester unit) English composition class

Note: If you submitted a score or grade before you applied to UCSD, your score was not matched to your application. Resend your score to the Admissions Office.

If you can't submit a score before the exam date, take the UC Analytical Writing Placement Exam.]

it says that i should send the score (i received a 3 on ap test) by the exam date (may 8th) and if i don't i should take the UC placement exam!!??
but if i send it in like todayy it won't get there on time because i heard that it takes at least 2 weeks to get to UCSD... and the exam is in like a week.! people told me that i don't have to... but yeahhh!!! omg

i believe it’s the english LANGUAGE, not lit class that they want, in which case you probably took it junior year and reported the score on your application

plus, if you’re required to take any placement tests (math/english), they should have sent you a postcard in the mail

it doesnt matter what english test. but it would be ap english language since that is taken junior year.

thanks. but my question is whether to send the official test score by May 8th as it says above. yeah i know i don’t have to take the test for sure because i didn’t receive the letter either but it says i might have to if i don’t send the scoree

Don’t send it. Just send them all for free when you take your APs in may.
