Sending AP scores to colleges?

<p>Do I have to choose to send my AP scores to colleges when I'm registering for an AP exam, or am I able to send the scores when I'm applying for colleges instead?</p>

<p>Apparently you only send your scores to the college you’re going to attend so you can get credit for them.</p>

<p>You do have a choice to send your AP scores when applying for colleges, but it’s a waste of money. As fairy_dreams said, colleges only look at AP scores for credit, but you can wish to self-report your scores in your applications.</p>
