The site for preview mentioned that AP scores needed to be sent to them ahead of time.

However, weren't the AP scores sent with the SAT by the collegeboard in a general file?

I ask because I am not taking any AP's this year so the sum of scores that would have been sent back then would still be valid.

No. SAT score reports do not include AP test scores. You must go to the college board website, click AP tests, look for the "sending scores" section, find the telephone number to call. Having AP test scores sent is a totally separate request from having SAT scores sent.

In that case, doesn't UF automatically receive the scores just like they automatically received all of our SAT and ACT's?

The way it works here(NY) is: you must make the request either when you register for the test (make the notation on the registration as to what schools to send scores to) or after receiving your score (by telephone). This goes for EACH test: SAT---ACT---AP. The SAT score report will include ALL of the SAT test results. The ACT test score will only include the test date that you request (this way they see your best score as opposed to all of your attempts). The AP test score report includes ALL of your AP tests.

You must request each official test result. SAT and AP requests are made through college board. ACT requests are made through act.org.

SAT and AP score reports are not sent together. You must make separate requests.

I understand. The thing is, UF has some arrangement with collegeboard and the ACT company that all scores are automatically sent to the school via internet. Not too many were too happy about it either, considering there were some scores that people didn't want the school to see

That sounds like a really weird policy. Maybe you should just call the admissions office and talk directly with them then.

1 step ahead of you :p

I definitely had to send in my scores to UF via TCB's website back when I matriculated in '04. You think TCB would pass up an opportunity to get more money?

Does anyone know the correct email address for the Office of Admissions?

I emailed ourwebrequests@registrar.ufl.edu asking about whether or not they have my AP scores on file and I haven't received a response in 4 days so I assume that the email address is incorrect

That IS their address. They can just take a long time to answer is all.

However, whenever I got an e-mailed answered it didn't come from that address but from hayden@ufl.edu . Perhaps you should try e-mailing Sandra R. Hayden at that address?

Thanks for the verification
