does vanderbilt require you to send an official AP score report if you listed your scores on the commonapp? if so, do those have to be sent before the deadline?

i don’t think Vanderbilt really looks at AP scores for admission-it is mostly GPA and grades that they look at for that. Once you get admitted and sign up for classes, that’s when AP scores are neccessary. I’ve already been accepted to Vandy, and I didn’t send any AP scores. I would wait until May, then send all the scores from previous year and current year together :)

I believe they told us last year that if you think it may help your application, send them in, but it’s not going to hurt you if you choose not to.

wuthering have u heard of any transfer cases? if so do u remember any specific stats?

thanks, everybody. :)

The AP scores dont necessarily help your application, but they do help when looking over your class selection. For instance, my AP calc. grade ended up being low B so I was technically not able to test out of one level of calc. due to the class gpa requirments. but my AP test score was high enough to test me out of it so I went directly into multivariable calc. Hope that helps.
