Sending financial aid super late

I was accepted to Harvard SCEA and I have already finished both my CSS profile and FAFSA. By January, Harvard sent me a letter of estimates for my FA package. However, I still have to do the IDOC. Unfortunately, my time is completely consumed with studying for 7 AP tests and extracurriculars (the season for my sport is beginning) while my dad works practically 24/7. I will not be able to send in the IDOC until May. Will they still consider my FA package? I have already committed to Harvard, so I think they will, but I am not sure.

Yes. They will accept it in May, but your final award will be delayed. It’s possible, depending on how late you send it, that you won’t know precisely what you’re going to get until even after you get your first bill.

You might wish to take the time to do this before April 23, which is the date for current students to have their IDOCs in. For current students who get the IDOC in by April 23, financial aid will be in place by July 1. If you’ve already filled out the FAFSA and the CSS Profile, the IDOC is just a matter of copying tax returns & other miscellaneous stuff and sending them off.
