I am applying undecided, and my top two interests are writing and philosophy. I don't plan to major in music, but it has been a large part of my pre-college life (cello in orchestra, taught myself keyboards). Would it be ok to throw in some music recordings on a tape just as an extra thing? I'm not looking to get accepted into a school of music, just want them to see another side of me. Also, if I did this, should I send a 'portfolio' type thing, with music teacher recommendation, judge evaluations, etc? Would this benefit my chances at all in some cases? I don't want to be asked to do an audition or anything heh, but I could if necessary.

Also, for Vassar specifically, if anyone knows, is it alright to send this in addition to a Your Space submission of something else? Or should this be the Your Space?

Thanks alot
