Hi!

It's never even occured to me before to send in a "resume". I talked recently with a Yale Admissions director and she basically flat out said: "Don't send one". Several other colleges gave less direct questions but essentially hinted that they don't really want to read it.

Given this, would you guys say that one should send in an extra resume?

At my school we're required to send a resume along with all our apps. If you have good ECs that require more explaination than the 6 or so lines on the CommonApp then yeah I'd say send the resume in. 7 out of 44 in the class were accepted to Ivies, including Yale so I'd say sending in the resume can't hurt.

i turned in my resume (after having a few people review it), and it didn't hurt! I got into 8/11 schools, so definitely, if it has substance behind it, i say send it.
