Sending January SAT scores

<p>Should I take the SAT's in january if I want to make sure one of my sections is in line with the other sections because the other 2 sections are great. The one section is pretty low compared to the others. I would send the score to the better colleges I applied to carnegie mellon, cornell, jhu, michigan...</p>

<p>If your scores will improve, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Since those schools accept the January administration of the test, I don't see why they'd have anything against it (I'm retaking SAT IIs in January). Besides, for RD I'm pretty sure they don't even start looking at apps until February.</p>
