Hi, I am applying to Pomona College and was planning on using the Common App but have been struggling with the Common app supplemental questions. I recently decided I wanted to use the Coalition App for its different supplemental questions. However, it’s now winter break and I can’t remember if I asked my counselor to send in my official documents (transcript, letters of rec, school report, etc) through the Coalition or just the common when school was still in session. I’m really worried he didn’t and so if I just submit the Coalition app then they won’t get all my official documents and my application won’t be considered. I will get back to school on January 7 and I could make sure my counselor sends official documents then. Would colleges generally be ok with that?
I could also submit the common app (which has the official documents attached) AND the coalition app and tell Pomona to only look at my Coalition supplementals.
What should I do? I need help please!!
Only submit one application.
The deadline is January 1st, so you don’ have time wait until your high school is back in session. I would finish and submit the Common App.
From their website:
Pomona College accepts applications for fall entrance. January 1 is the regular decision deadline and the deadline for all credentials other than senior year midterm grades.

Submit what you can. Pomona understands the other stuff is outside of your control.
