Hi everyone!
So I’m a pretty bad test taker, and scored 710 on SAT Biology M and 690 on Math Level II. For the schools that “highly recommend” them, would it be advisable to submit these scores even though they’re very low for schools like ivies? Or would I fare better just not showing them these scores? (My ACT is on the lower side too, LOL, just to give you guys some context.)
I’m on the same boat here, would like to know the answer to that too
For all schools that “highly recommend” them, you should send them in unless your situation is such that you can explain why you were not able to take them (e.g., financial burden). Be mindful of the 25%-75% range of the standardized test scores for all schools you are applying to. Ideally, your ACT and/or SAT scores should be within that range to be competitive absent a very strong hook (e.g., athletic recruit). Good luck on your applications and make sure to apply to some safeties where your standardized test scores are well above the 50% range.
