Sending material via mail

So I'm using A Levels as my school transcript. I scanned copies of the original certificate, got it certified and sent them into various Universities. Now some places have given my unique ID's and some haven't. Of the ones that have given me unique ID's I've added them and others I just left my name, school name and country (South Africa).

IS that fine? They are not going to be confused or discard my mail because I did not include an ID? I sent everything in this morning, of the 6 places I've sent to, only 2 had ID's.

If the school didn’t provide you with any ID number, including only your name, school name, and country should be perfectly fine. To be safe you can always add more information such as your birthday, or if you applied through Common App, it’s always a good idea to put down your common app ID number.

Common app Id number can never hurt, but as long as your identifying information is clear and distinct enough, you should be fine
