Hi all,
I was looking through this website today (https://www.admission.ucla.edu/NewBruins/Offl_Rec_Freshmen.htm)
I noticed it says near the top: “the deadline for receipt of official transcripts and test scores by Undergraduate Admission is November 15, 2019.”
Yet, from my understanding, UC Applications were technically due on November 30th, so this deadline doesn’t quite make sense to me?
Anyways, today I submitted my Official SAT Score Report to UC San Diego (their deadline is no later than January), so I can assume I do not need to send it to UCLA now (however late it may be)?
Moreover, I remember when I received via email my UCLA application-portal there was no checklist asking for the Official SAT Test Scores (unlike UCSD’s application portal), so does UCLA even consider/need official SAT Score Reports?
Note:
Yes, I did self-report my SAT Scores and TOEFL.
I am an international applicant and according to the websites since English is my first language I do not send any official TOEFL scores… only official SAT it seems.
Thanks everyone!
You’re alright - that link is for admitted students, so it wouldn’t apply to you. Yes, if you have your SAT scores sent to one UC campus, the scores will go to all UCs to which you applied.
You’re right - unlike some other UCs, your UCLA portal doesn’t explicitly show the receipt of your test scores. Once the scores are received, they will be added to your application, so you can verify there to make sure the scores have been received.
Check your account with collegeboard to see that the scores have been actually sent. Once that has been done, give it a couple of days (at least) for your UC app to be updated.

UC San Diego said their SAT official score report deadline is “no later than January”. I submitted it Jan 2nd (in my own time-zone which is like a day ahead of U.S)… I hope that’s ok!
The official SAT test score deadline is December 31 for all the UC’s. If received after that date, there is no guarantee that your scores will be considered in your application review. I would contact UCLA admissions to make sure that if and when they receive your scores, they will be considered.

Will my admission be affected if I can’t take my ACT/SAT exam until the first week of December?
A: We will consider scores from ACT and SAT tests taken through the end of December, but you must request that they be sent to a UC campus directly from the testing agency. Note that ACT and SAT results sent to one UC campus will be accessible by all other UC campuses you’ve applied to.

Could you guys also please give some of your advice on this thread (by me): http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/2169355-question-about-native-english-in-non-u-s-schools-p1.html?new=1
Especially the UCSD question at the bottom (and if possible the UIUC one)
I’m unable to DM (since i’m a new user) so I’m just replying on here.
I don’t know anything about a specific deadline at UCSD for receiving SAT scores as my son did not apply there. “No later than January” could mean (to me) 1/1 or 1/31. You should call their AO and ask.
Did you pay collegeboard to send your scores? Did you also pay for rush delivery (1-2 business days)? If you used a ‘free’ score report, it will take collegeboard 10 business days to send the report.
