Sending SAT Scores (2360 SuperScore) vs ACT Score (35 Single Sitting)

I've posted a similar thread like this before, but I just realized that some colleges require you to send all scores from a given company. For example, if you were to send your SAT I scores, you'd have to send in your SAT II scores as well. However, if you choose to send your ACT scores, then it is not required to send in any scores from the SAT.

I've taken the SAT I four times (one in tenth grade that was for a special program and I didn't really prepare for it, so really only three times), and have a highest single setting of 2290 and a superscore of 2360.

I've taken four subject tests: Chemistry (740), Biology (pending), Math II (800), and World History (610)

I took the ACT once and got a 35.

The question is, should I even bother sending my SAT (despite the 2360) because of the 610 in World History?

Help!!

Really, your test scores are fine. Great, even, but I’m sure you know that already. I’d send them both because many schools require subject tests so you might as well, and most colleges only look at your top scores (SAT II’s included) so I’m assuming they’ll evaluate your Math II and Chem score.

Personally, If I were looking for something to be neurotic about, it’d be your GPA and not your standardized testing aptitude…

I believe that you are incorrect. We investigated this before last year (my daughter had two very good SAT IIs and one lower SAT II) – for such schools, you have to send in all test scores for a specific test. This means if you took the SAT II Bio two times, you have to send both scores. You do have to send all four of your SAT Is, but no worries your scores are awesome. Then send in the number of SAT IIs that the school requires and send all test scores for each of those two tests. Do NOT self-report your World History score.

Investigate the college. Some college like Penn requires all standardized test scores to be submitted. Do check.

Thanks everyone for your advice!

@Coriander23‌ That is what I used to be like earlier this year (as you may have seen from my previous threads), but I think I’ve gotten so worried about my GPA to the point of apathy.

@Momof2back2back‌ So essentially, send all four SAT Is, then send only Math II and Chem? (or Bio if my new score is higher than my previous)

Look up the details for each school. Even Stanford request all scores, one may do score choice on SAT2. After all, I don’t see any reason for you to hide any score.

Frankly, you are clearly a high performer on tests, so one somewhat lower (but still above the mean) subject test is not going to change that. In your shoes, I’d send every single score I had and not worry about it one bit.

As noted above, the greater concern for someone who tests at your level is to present the best GPA you can possibly achieve.
