Since I am retaking the sats january, should i hold off sending scores to colleges and let them know (for the ones that accept january scores) that I am retaking in january. It is sort of a cost issue to send scores twice. Also, is the deadline for sending scores also 1/1? Or can i hold off maybe a week to see how the situation boils down?

bump.. same q

it depends on colleges like deadlines for most of colleges are 1/1 but like MIT or Yale's dealines are 1/15. you can contact colleges and ask them if they accept rushed scores. But seriously my opinion is like if they review apps in March why do they need scores this early u know? so i dont think it REALLY THAT matters.. as long as they have ur scores in by when they reveiw.. u will be fine.. thats what i think and doing same thing as u :D

haha thanks..I had the same impression b/c i dont really think they need scores NOW. They don't even finish process stuff until like 3 weeks after their deadlines (from what I know). Hopefully though, i wont compromise any of my apps by being miserly.
