Sending SAT scores

hi everyone,
I'm really confused about this whole SAT score sending process.

First of all, I'm taking a late SAT I in December (the colleges I'm applying to will accept it).
I'm also taking a subject SAT in November that is considered late for one college I'm applying too.

How do I send all these scores so that they come on time?
Also, is it bad to use score choice? A friend told me that it shows that you're hiding something.

I registered last night for both these SAT's last night and I still have the option of sending to 4 schools... should I fill that out or wait until scores arrive? If I wait until scores arrive how do I send everything in?

thanks.

character limits

A few things you should know when considering sending scores.

 • You can send 4 free scores every time you take a SAT test, moreover, you have a number of days after the test taking day to tell them which 4 schools you want to send the scores to.
 • Some schools let you send only the best set of scores but some require that you send all scores. You need to check the school’s policy on that or when you use score choice on College Board, it will basically tells you the policy of each school.

The answers to your questions depend on a number of things like have you taken any SAT test before, or when are the deadlines of the schools you are applying to especially the one you are applying EA/ED. For school that considers your November test late, I would send everything you have right away and update them with new scores when they come out. For other schools, I would wait until December and send all the scores in. If you have previous SAT score, you might want to try to send some scores out after your November SAT2 test with the 4 free scores you have and update them with December scores if you get an improved result. But do this to only the schools that accept score choice. For the schools that require all scores, you need to wait until December and send all the scores you have. When you need to pay to send a score to a school, ask yourself, do I need to send another score again to this school in the future? If so, you should wait unless the deadline is approaching.

And yes, it is ok to use Score Choice for the schools that do not require to see all scores.

should you send scores when you’re a junior?
