<p>Most colleges with Jan 1 or 2 app deadlines want the scores in their hands sometime before mid-Jan and as much before as possible. For places like Columbia it is best for January score to make sure you list Columbia as one of your colleges to automatically be sent your score as soon as it comes out. In other words, don’t wait to order until after the score comes out. Also, if you have decent scores now you should send them. Though it accepts Jan tests, Columbia starts reviewing files for preliminary decisions before that test score comes out for the Jan test and it is to some small advantage to be initially reviewed earlier rather than later.</p>
