I sent my scores through my counselor. The portal doesn’t show the score being received though, and it has been a few days already.
I heard someone tell me that scores sent by counselors do not lead to a tick on the portal’s test requirement. Is that so?
PLEASE HELP
You’ll have to provide a bit more information. What “scores” did you send? What “portal”?
Let’s assume you are talking about SAT or ACT scores and you are trying to send them to a college.
How did the counselor send them? I believe you have to send through your college board or ACT account. Regardless, if your counselor was able to send them for you, schools will often take days or weeks to show “received”. Imagine how many applications schools are going through right now. And, College Board and ACT will take some time to send out as well. You’ll have to be patient.
I was talking about my ACT scores.
Due to financial difficulties in sending a lot of scores through ACT, I contacted the college admissions. They agreed to accept a pdf copy of the score report sent to my school by ACT, if it was sent to them through my counselor. My counselor mailed them the scores. It has been a few days already; however, the my college portal does not show the scores being received.
I do not believe it would take a lot of time since they would receive the mail almost instantaneously.
me too. but dont worry they will update them pretty soon. I applied BMC and that is the only college that took days, almost all of them update like the following day. However deadlines are approaching, u gotta wait
At this point updating portals can be several weeks (like 3) not several days. That is normal.
