<p>I'm currently a Senior who hasn't sent their SAT test scores to colleges yet:</p>
<p>Do I need to rush if I'm sending to the UC's? The deadline for the application was November 30th.</p>
<p>Also, if I was absent on my November test day (didn't want to retake) do I have to do anything to mention it? It just says on the SAT scores page that my score isn't available yet. I hope that means cancellation =/</p>

<p>I don't know which UC schools accept rush scores (not all schools do) but you might want to get on the phone and start checking. Or if you have any of your schools pin numbers ( that you get after they recieve your apps) you can check on your status and see if they tell you what to do about reporting scores.
also, look for poster "UCAdmissions" although she may be on vacation. I think January is okay ( I think the website says when the Dec test scores are released ) but I wouldn't assume Jan 31st and regular scores can take 2 to 4 weeks.</p>

<p>Which schools did you apply to? I know the answer is not the same for all, and you can try posting on the individual campus sites.

<p>The answer at this point is simply: Rush or don't rush.</p>
<p>The schools are different. Here's a few comments from the general UC forum. </p>
<p>I'm leaning toward no rush, but I have rushed scores to UC's when I was rushing them elsewhere. Not sure if it "worked" but I seem to remember poster "UCadmissions" saying don't rush.</p>
<p>"You might consider contacting College Board to determine why this isn’t appearing. As long as you submit the scores to UC Davis we should receive them. I don’t recommend sending the scores by rush; only send the scores by regular report. Doing so will make sure the scores are sent to the correct place since we actually receive the scores from the UC Central Processing center (When you request regular reports be sent to UC Davis they are sent to the UC Central Processing center)"</p>
