If a deadline for a college is today (11/1) is it too late to submit ACT scores? I took the 10/25 test and I indicated my schools with 11/1 deadlines as score recipients. However, all my schools with 11/1 deadlines say the never received my scores. So do I need to send other scores for my application to be reviewed? Or will it be reviewed after they receive the scores from my 10/25 test. I'm sorry if this is difficult to understand. And so worst case scenario, if I don't meet an early action deadline because it is too late to send scores, will I be reviewed in regular decision because my application will be completed for that time?

The schools haven’t received the scores because there are likely no scores to report yet if you just took the ACT on 10/25. Since you signed up for automatic reporting to the 11/1 deadline schools, those schools will receive them as soon as they are available and you should be fine (as long as they say they accept scores from October ACT).

They do accept scores from the October ACT. So my application will be reviewed right? Although there are currently no scores there to report?

Does it say anywhere that they must have one set of scores on file even if you are submitting October scores? If so then I would send any set (now by midnight) that you do have on record even if they aren’t great. They will update with the new scores when they are available.

If you don’t have any scores to submit- Oct was your first ever official test- then what is done is done and they will get the scores as soon as they are available. Only they can tell you whether or not you needed to have at least one set on record before the deadline. I can’t imagine them not reviewing your application when they have stated that they will consider October scores. But I guess each school sets its own policy. Anyway, hang in there and good luck with your applications!!
