We all know that AP tests are coming up soon…

So I’m wondering, do I need to send UCSD the AP scores for the classes I’m taking for the senior year? If so, do they mean anything?

Thanks,
ado

AP classes don't count for GPA. They just count for credit. I'll put it in a possible scenario: I need to take 12 credits of social science for my GE requirements. I got a 5 in APUSH and my college will consider me as having fulfilled 8 out of the 12 credits of social science. So I'll need 4 more creds. to finish my social science requirements.

I'm sorry if that was a mindtrip. If my assumption is wrong, someone correct me because that's how I understood it when my counselor explained it to my class... oh, during 2nd semester of junior year. So my memory's kind of foggy.

I'm sending my Literature, Gov't., and Bio scores. I'll talk to my counselor about my AP Bio creds, though, because I'm thinking of taking it over again @ TMC to get the feel for university-level science classes. Call me crazy, but I don't mind. Biology is one of my favorite subjects.

yeah AP Credits are useless and good depending on what your major is.
