I have searched the forums a couple of times, but I still can't find the answers I need.

I hope to transfer to a UC going for a degree in Pharmacology/Pharmaceutical Sciences, and College of San Mateo and the UC's I want to attend don't agree on how AP scores are accredited. So my question is, if I passed Biology(3), Chemistry(4), and Calculus BC(4), does that mean I get to skip those courses at CSM or do I have to take them again. For example, Chemistry, will I have to take chemistry again, or can i take organic chemistry going into CSM?

same question here! I'm majoring in polisci and so far I have english and composition (3) and APUSH (4). I will also most likely pass AP gov. can I skip these classes??

and aznxboix we are from the same area! I'm either going to csm or skyline next year :)

I'm not 100% positive on this, but i have a feeling if the UC requires a class for a pre-req, then they want to see that you've taken it at the school you're transferring from - that is, only if the UC doesn't accept your AP test score for the corresponding class.

I have another question regarding AP tests...

So I called AP Services today to get my score reports sent to Berkeley. I entered all my information (SSN, birthdate) into their database with my phone and it said that they did not have my test scores on file, or they were unavailable, or something. I took AP's back in 2006. Has anybody else had this problem?? I tried calling a bunch of times but it keeps coming up with the same thing.

When you hear that automated voice telling you what to dial, just press zero and it should direct you over to a live person. Ask them to help you, because heaven knows I hate doing all that touch tone crap. This is what I wound up doing and they're very helpful about it too.

hmmm, that's interesting. I totally forgot that i had to send in AP scores so i'm glad you brought it up. I'll try to request a score report to be sent to berkeley soon and i'll report back to you.
