From the Princeton website: "If you choose to take more than two subject tests, we will consider all your scores, giving the greatest weight to your two strongest scores."

When applying to Princeton (which requires 2 SAT2's) by SCEA, which would look better?

740 USH, 740 Bio, 720 MathII

740 USH, 740 Bio

The 720 MathII is like 68th percentile, which is why I don't want it sent. But, if I don't use score choice to get rid of it, I'll have the bare minimum for SAT2's.

That’s a tough call. Only two are required and you shouldn’t be penalized by sending only 2. The question is will your math level 2 score help or hurt? I’m guessing it’s a neutral, unless you are interested in math or engineering, and then it would be a negative. I would look at your overall academic context (how are your math grades? how is your math sat score) and then make a decision. If this score is consistent or better than your grades/math sat score, then consider sending it. If not, I probably wouldn’t.

I’m interested in Molecular Biology, and not a kind of field that would want a high MathII score. Plus, on the October SAT I I’ll likely get 780+ on the Math portion. I ended up not sending the 720 Math 2 in, thinking it’ll raise eyebrows.

Im in sort of a similar situation. I have on 800 on us history, 770 on math I. I sent those two scores in, i didn’t send in a 750 on chem because the percentile wasn’t that great…but should I send it in anyway?

A 750 is not too bad, as long as it isn’t in MathII. I’d send it in. 3 > 2 tests.

By the way, if you are going into sciences, I think you should send in math II.
