Sending the SAT scores after the application deadline

<p>I plan to take the SAT in Dec, but almost of the colleges' application deadline</p>

<p>is January. I heard that we can somehow send the SAT scores after the application deadline. How is it possible?
Do we send the application without the scores within the deadlines and send them later separately?</p>

<p>nearly all colleges accept the Dec SAT for their RD round, but check with individual admissions offices just to be sure.</p>
