How much of an impact will your senior grades have on whether or not you get accepted into wherever you've applied? Ranging from Privates, UC (I'm in California), or a CSU. My UC GPA is 3.82 and my recent SAT score is 2030, and the scores from the one I took in November are pending, but I'm actually having a really hard time with my 12th grade classes. I took CALC AB over the summer in a rushed course so my foundation is really loose, so I have a D in Calc BC. How much does that hurt my chances of getting into anywhere?

Personally, I think senior grades are important but they (most likely) won’t make or break your application. If you’ve demonstrated that you’re qualified in every other aspect of your app, a slip in grades your senior year shouldn’t hurt your chances significantly. At least that’s what I hope is the case Good luck!

Oh jesus you don’t know how glad I am to hear that…was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I hope you’re right, and thanks for the words of support, will continue to give it my all :D
