I have only one AP class this year (have had more and Honors in other years) due mostly to scheduling issues. But I'm still taking rigorous courses and working hard. My 3 year GPA is an 89.7 (W) but my midyear GPA is about 99 (UW). Will they take this into consideration even though most of my classes are R?

Don’t get your hopes down, but a mid-year GPA report holds little weight compared to your overall GPA. On the bright side: chances are, it won’t matter. Unless you are applying to the most competitive schools, your GPA should already be high enough to get that acceptance letter.
