So I applied ED to the ILR School at Cornell and got deferred. I have a feeling it is because I got 3 Bs on my first quarter report card for my senior year. I am taking AP Biology, AP Economics, AP Spanish, and AP Calculus AB and the Bs happened in the first 3. If I received any Bs on my second quarter report card, how badly would that hurt my chances for Cornell?

GPA: 3.7 unweighted
SAT: 2010 (650R, 650W, 710M)
ACT: 30

Looking at your SAT & ACT results although they are fairly on the 45% percentile of the world among those who take them they are still low for cornell BUT its not all about that and if you are from the same state cornell is located in then your chances are much higher and try to meet with the admissions.

What about my grades for this year?

My guess is the deferral is more likely due to your stats (or ECs which you have not listed) then your senior grades.
