Senior Out - Skipping School and college admissions

Hello Everyone. I am wondering what the effect of taking a senior out period would have in admissions. I am applying to competitive schools, my top choices being Northwestern and Emory. Senior Out basically means that im allowed to come to school an hour and a half later ( less sleep deprivation woo! ). It’s practically a study hall period but outside of school.
This would only happen in the SPRING, so AFTER ED results and pretty much right before RD results. Do you think I’ll be okay for me to do senior In all year?

By the time I graduate I would have taken 12 AP Classes. This honestly isn’t impressive at all at my school tbh
Senior Schedule:
AP Calculus AB
AP Stats
AP Macro Econ
AP Government
AP Environmental Science
AP English 4
2 Regular History Classes ( Done Purely Out of Interest) - “Culture, Conflict and Genocide” and “World After WWII”
Computer Science I ( Regular )

I feel like Senior Out will really help me fight back senioritis/burn out, while still allowing me to take a reasonably rigorous schedule. Is 6 APs enough? I feel like it might be a bit weak ( keep in mind im an asian applicant, so I need to amp up the rigor a bit to counteract affirmative action ) A lot of my friends are taking 8 APs next year and they keep on telling me that I should just do Calc BC.

Is my schedule sufficient enough? What if I drop the two history classes and just do all year senior In? My goal is to get into either northwestern or emory ED. Will they look down on me for slacking off and not taking ap?

In a bit nervous my counselor won’t give me the “most rigorous” check because there are plenty of people at my school who are taking 14+ Aps…

This is a fully sanctioned school policy; just ensure your grades remain high . . . especially no Ds of Fs. Hasn’t your GC’s recommendation – including the “most rigorous” endorsement – been submitted months ago?

@TopTier‌ i think he’s applying in terms of next year

Drop AP Stats, it doesn’t add anything to your schedule.
Top schools only expect about 8 APs total (including the “core” ones). Unless you’re applying for a stem major or to a stem school, they don’t differentiate between AB and BC.
Taking two History seminars “for fun” will do your application much more good than a load of random APs.

Are you asking whether the 'senior out" that’s applied to your spring semester could allow you to skip class?
THen the answer is no, you can’t just skip school first semester because you would be allowed to do so next semester.
I think you can take “senior out” in the Spring without a problem, especially with such a rigorous schedule.

For the “most rigorous” check, ask your counselor whether s/he’ll give you one or not. With 11 AP’s (taking out AP Stats), if s/he doesn’t, I promise you it’ll look weird in admissions.
