"I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." - Sir Angus Grossart

"in this great future you can't forget your past" - Bob Marley

pretty cheesy/lame, if it was by anyone else i wouldn't have put it in there

I did an inside joke between one of my friends and me. It was a quote from a woman at Gamestop: "It takes really good friends to give really bad gifts." (after we told her a story about shopping at ltd too for our friend's 17th birthday presents)

But I love any quote from The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery...
"One sees clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes."
that one's my favorite. but I guess you have to read the book to see how wonderful the quotes from it really are.

"[Snowboarding]; because most sports only require one ball"

:)

Go ahead, make my day
-Clint Eastwood ( This was my quote haha..only if I could put in a pic of Clint pointing a .44 :(

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams"
-Eleanor Roosevelt

I HATE that quote. My teacher got that quote painted in her room. It's so overdone and discussed.

wow, logistics. that's the first time i had ever seen that eleanor roosevelt quote.

We had it as an essay for lit, because the American dream was huge for that class. My history teacher is in love with that quote. The quote appears from time to time as quote of the day on the announcements.

oh, you seem to have some intense hate towards that quote.

Woah! Just trying to share some Eleanor Roosevelt love;)

karlis, that's my favorite little prince quote too. i have a page of them on my wall.

Make Your Time

well i had two different quotes!!!!!!
the first one: "I have learned that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams and endeavors to live life as he imagined, he will meet a success unexpected, but the vision wont be clear. Your vision will be clear only when you look into your heart and find the real"
the second one: "Definitively UNdefined. Equivocally- Designed. Music iz my Chemistry. It's one-of-a-kind. Never underestimate, The beauty of a mind"

"I almost wish you would've loved me too."

"Almost" by Bowling for Soup. It sums up everything pretty well.

It's between one of these two:
"If necklaces of pork chops were accepted, it would be a sad child who could not wear pork chops." -John Steinbeck
"Flying is learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." -Douglas Adams

We don't have senior quotes... but if we did mine would be:

On a long enough time line the survival rate for everyone drops to zero" Chuck Palahniuk - Fight Club

My senior quote was:

" If you can't laugh at yourself, life is going to seem a whole lot longer than you'd like. "

I chose that quote because laughter is what got me through high school. Hah, cheesy I know. It was either that or " I'm hungry. " because everyone knows how I love to eat but I know I would've regretted it in the future. Haha.

There are two times in your life when you learn to keep your mouth shut: when angry and when swimming.

"I have nothing profound to say."

Too much goes on my mind to condense into a single, all-encompassing statement of wisdom. My ego wouldn't let me settle for a sub-par attempt at wisdom, so I just absolved myself of all such delusions.

Of course, the statement certainly does have grand implications if you decided to look into it on the "deeper level". But really, that's just pseudo-intellectualism, and no one likes that. =0
