So the courses I'm taking for sure are:
AP Lit
AP Calc AB
AP Physics B
Orchestra
internship
AP Eco/AP Gov't

I was thinking of AP Latin Vergil, but now I want to change it to AP Chem or AP Stats.
What should I do? I'm afraid not taking 4 languages will hurt my admission changes at top colleges (Northwestern) and I don't know if it will be overwhelming to take Physics and Chem. I also saw one of the requirements for Bio majors at NW is Stats (if i actually even get in), so I don't know if I should take that instead.

i would probably take Physics or Chemistry (AP) because they are closely interrelated with bio and will look good on your college apps. You can self study for Latin and take the AP exam. you still get credit that way for Latin and one of the AP sciences. can u help me with my schedule too? i want to take:

-AP GOv/Econ
- AP Envir. Science
-AP Englihs
- Anatomy & Physiology

For the last two classes:
- Chemical Technology, Photography

or

Pharmacy Clerk at a vocational school

I want to be a pharmacist but I don’t know if it is good to take pharmacy clerk at a vocational school. what would you do?

What do you mean by physics OR chemistry because i’m currently taking AP Bio?

I think I would go for option one for yours because I’m not too sure about the vocational school either. My internship is technically at a vocational school, but it offers a legit professional internship with a surgeon for credit.

I think he means that if your going to major in a science related field so you should take science AP classes than Latin but you haven’t taken 4 lang classes yet so i would say stick with AP Latin

Oh yeah, AP Stat is pretty much a joke class (at least at my school)

Does taking 4 language classes really make a difference. Because i know that if i take Latin i would not be prepared for the exam at all and it’s basically a blow off class since the teacher is terrible. But yeah, i’m majoring in a science field.

It is recommended by many top universities (Harvard and such) but i don’t know how much of a difference it makes. I remember there being many threads in the past on this so you can use the search function to find them

you had said it will be overwhelming to take physics and chem so maybe you could take one of them as an ap class. and ap stat is a joke at my school too!

what do you mean one of them as an AP class? I’ve already taken the honors prereqs for both, so they have to be AP classes…
