Ok this will be my first post here. Hi! So I’m hoping to get some advice on my schedule for next year, and I’m a current junior.
I have planned out:
AP Studio Art
AP English Composition
AP Government (US and Comparative)
AP Physics
AP Econ (Micro and Macro)
AP Computer Science
I’m not looking forward to the physics and I heard it’s really hard, but people say it’s most useful for college so I think it’s staying… as long as it’s calc based I’ll be fine though - I’m more of a math person. How did you guys find AP Physics? I’m in the honors this year and it’s been my least favorite class. My other question is Econ - I’m taking it because I think it would come in handy in the future, but I’d really rather take AP Euro; I have a very strong interest in history and European history especially. But going with what’s more useful than enjoyable… What do you guys think?
Also here’s my junior schedule. You can see that I have many dead ends and have to start with new classes (for example I went through all my german classes and will have no language next year)
AP German
AP Calc BC
AP English Language
AP Statistics
AP US
Art 1 (prerequisite for AP Studio Art)
Physics honors
Math has always been my favorite subject, and I’m almost devastated that I won’t have it next year (my school has no maths above calc bc) I know they say physics is calc based, but when forces and electrons get mixed in I lose it. Notice I don’t have chem or bio in this year… those were both in there for sophomore year and I didn’t like them enough to move into ap.
So really my main questions were… What say you of AP Econ and AP Physics? (Oh btw the physics class my school offers has two ap exams in it, I’m not sure which though) Do you think I should go for Euro? I have until June 12th to make changes…
Thank you in advance!
Psst… I’m new and was wondering - what goes under “ask the dean topics”? Does this? This was more of a scheduling question than an ap exam preparation question, I know…
