For my senior schedule, I have two major options
Option 1:
AP Computer Science Principles
AP Calculus AB
AP European History
AP English Literature
(AP?) Physics
Government/Economics (College level)
Health/Career and Finance
Gym
Or I could try to talk to my GC and take Government, Economics, and Health over the summer and instead have a schedule that’s more to my liking
Option 2:
AP Computer Science Principles
AP Calculus AB
AP European History
AP English Literature
(AP?) Physics
AP Chem/Bio
Gym
I’m not super worried about the rigor of taking all these classes - chances are if I did AP Chem i’d be taking normal physics and such - plus during my junior year I’ve been taking 5 APs (Stats, CSA, French, Psych, USH) - and most of these APs in my school aren’t known for being time consuming outside of Chem and Calc. I’m wondering if I should bother pursuing the second option - I like that schedule the most, it is the most rigorous (and allows me to get AP classes under my belt in English and Science, which I haven’t been able to do thus far), allows me to double up on science (which would help make up for the fact that during my junior year I couldn’t arrange my schedule to take a meaningful science class), but it is also much harder to achieve, involving a way for me to get Gov/Eco and Health out of the way - and it’s rigor may be a double edged sword come college application time, but I’ve managed more stressful and time-consuming situations. Which senior schedule do you think I should go for?
