So I was accepted into the Honors Program EA and in the terms of admission, it said that they will be looking at final semester grades. Before my last semester, I had a 3.95 GPA and a 6.0 weighted GPA. This last semester, I will be honest, I have worked a little less in classes and will not have the best grades. I completely failed a test in history and there are only about 5 grades per semester. So basically, here are the grades I expect to have:
A in math
A in art
A in TOK
B in chem
B in english
D in history
I really screwed up and there is little room for mistakes in history. But I did slack a little in Chem and english. Do you think NEU will rescind my admission?

No university is going to rescind your admission over Bs. A D could be problematic, but given your overall performance and good grades in the rest of your classes, you will probably be OK. That said, don’t take a chance if you can avoid it! Talk to your history teacher. Figure out what you can do to get your grade up at least to a C.
