Not that I expect this question to have a black and white answer, but I'm starting to second guess my senior year schedule. This is sort of a weird situation- I just want some fresh opinions about what is the "smart" choice.

Currently my schedule is:
AP Psych
AP Calc BC
AP Physics C
AP Studio Art
AP Lang/Comp
Chamber Orchestra
1/2 year of Finance, 1/2 year of drafting

The alternate schedule I'm considering is:
AP Psych
AP French
AP Calc AB
AP Studio Art
AP Lang/Comp
Honors Physics
1/2 year of Finance, 1/2 year of drafting

I know I would have a higher- significantly so- GPA if I went the second route. I also know I would be considerably less interested. Should I follow my head and go for the higher GPA, or follow my heart, and do what I would enjoy more?

I accidentally submitted that post before I finished writing it, haha, I’m sorry. My school doesn’t offer Econ, and I have to take some sort of “practical art” for a credit to graduate. I put it off to senior year because I’ve never had the space, since I’m more a fine arts type person.

well, i’m biased, but i think you should keep doing chamber orchestra. i also think that you should do calc bc if you’re applying to really tough colleges.

I love orchestra, so I’d hate to quit! But my school combines Calc BC and Physics C into one infamously impossible class, so it’s all or nothing. It makes my life more complicated than it needs to be haha

I think you should take Physics C and Calc BC, theyre both mentally fun, engaging classes, and as long as you’re willing to put in the effort, you’ll be fine.
