Senior year course load?

I'm essentially done with all the courses my school requires/offers, so I'm doing dual enrollment at a local college next year (my senior year). Doing that, I only have room for four classes, and the way my guidance counselor has said it, it seems like one of those must be a gym/study hall rotation, so really only room for 3 classes at the high school, and typically two/three college classes per semester.

I'm definitely taking AP calc and AP Spanish, the only two APs my school offers, but I'm not sure whether I should take physics or a Shakespeare & Novels course (semester of Shakespeare plays and we get to go see them performed, then a semester of novels).

I'm kind of leaning towards taking physics, but only because I'm worried that taking that at a local college could be exponentially more difficult than at my high school, but the Shakespeare class interests me so much more! Physics is also weighted higher, and I think by taking the Shakespeare class, my class rank (currently 1) could be adversely affected.

Also, which would look better for competitive colleges (not necessarily HYPS)?

Competitive colleges usually specifically recommend that you take physics.

Would they care whether I took it at a local college or at my high school though?

The college class would probably be better, but it doesn’t matter.

Alright, thanks
