For various reasons I plan on skipping taking physics in junior year and plan on taking it in my senior year. Will colleges take my senior year grades into account when making acceptance decisions? will they think it’s strange that I skipped a year?
Taking Physics Senior year is fine. You will report on your application that the class is in progress. Regarding Senior year grades, it will depend upon which schools you are applying and if we have Mid-year grades available at the time of application.
Not sure about your reference about skipping a year??? For Junior year, you did not take any science classes???
9th grade ap bio, 10th grade ap chem, 11th grad one semester environmental science, senior year physics
only 1 semester science in your JR year?what is the reason for that ?
that in itself WONT be looked upon favorably , unless there were scheduling conflicts that prevented you from taking physics your jr year.
I think that as long as you cover bio, chem and physics, it will be fine for college apps. Most colleges only require 2-3 science courses.
