Not taking physics till senior year

Hi
I am going to be a junior this year in high school. I plan to go in to any of the sciences (physics chemistry biology) or engineering (most likely biomedical engineering). This year (junior year) I will take AP Bio and AP Chem
Freshman Year I took honors Chem
Sophomore Year I took honors bio
Now this year I will also self study AP Physics 1 and 2 and take the AP Exam and SAT Subject Test for Physics so I can take AP Physics C senior year. So i will technically not be taking a physics class till senior year. Will colleges not like this, especially if I might go into physics or biomedical engineering?
Thanks

There shouldn’t be an issue unless for some reason a college you’re applying to requires you to have a year of physics under your belt by the time you apply, which I don’t think I’ve ever even heard of. Some people don’t take physics at all in high school, instead replacing it with other sciences or classes. You’ll be fine.

This also shouldn’t be an issue. My HS was very small and didn’t offer physics until our senior year, but students from my HS got into very good engineering/physics programs at lots of schools.

Crikey you are setting yourself up for a tough year: all three of those APs are challenging. Be careful to protect your GPA…You might do a little chem review over the summer- it has to be rusty by now…

Schools won’t see this as an issue, especially given your self study.

That’s fine! At my school we are required to take physics to graduate, but we have the option of taking it junior or senior year
