Senior Year Grades

How much do they count?

My average for my frosh, Soph, and Junior year = 88/100 w/ 6 honor classes

My average for first semester of my senior year = 94/100 w/ Honors Calc and AP Stat.

Will this help me at all do they even look?

Anything else I can do to make up for my poor gpa first 3 years.

I heard that the Senior grades will only count until you got accepted to the schools. That time, they will ask to send the official transcript of your 4 full years of high school -so they will see that you haven’t procrastinate, still challenging yourself and preparing for college.

Most RD schools will ask for your first semester grades, and ED/EA will often ask to see your first interim grades. It’s very helpful if you have upward trend, and it looks really bad if your grades start to slip. Your grades will even be more important if you should need to get off waitlisted school(s). Of course, as mentioned by archi92, your admitted school will want to see your final senior grades.
