AMEN! The whole senior-year-is-so-laidback thing is a MYTH.

it's not only the college apps, but also the courses and trying to keep your grades up all at the same time, but failing

yeah its so ridiculously stressful

Yeah... I especially love how the most beastly, difficult classes (AP English + AP Calc BC + AP languages) at my school are only offered to seniors.

Junior year was a breeze compared to this.

Same at my school LesOs. Several APs are only available to seniors. Because my school doesn't offer many to begin with everyone loads 'em on.

Yeah...we're regretting it now.

This is why I'm acing the SAT this year (junior year) and applying ED...

I can't believe 1st semester is almost over. shiver Musical auditions are next week! OMG this year is FLYING by.

Wow, you're right...that went by so quickly. I can't believe that we've already spent about 70-80 days in school...

That's so crazy!

Know what's even crazier?

FOUR WEEKS TIL WINTER BREAK!

w00t.

let me tell you thirty minutes ago had to go lie down, listen to the ipod and calm down cuz I am so stressed out. chem hw is crazy and i'm gonna major in it. i have a scholarship application to fill out, three quizzes tomorrow, and it continues. senior year is crazy!

That's why I'm glad I'm not a senior.

Oh, this is just the beginning! After this you've got transfer applications (if you don't get into your first choice), grad school applications, job applications, promotion stress, etc.

The "I'll be free when I'm done with senior year" mentality doesn't make any sense. Either be competitive and enjoy it, or get off the bandwagon.

yeah one of my senior friends told me to shut up when i was whining about junior year.

Pssh, junior year was absolutely nothing like this. I only have one class next semester, but since teachers keep asking me and other students to take the college classes, I may have those too. I'm not too stressed over college applications. I don't need to write essays or go to interviews.

i really really really hate senior year

ditto. Studying for the SATs (December 1st, anyone?), keeping grades up, dealing with college apps....puuure h-e-doublehockeysticks

senior year IS terrible.

actually, most of my friends decided to take easier classes and they're enjoying themselves. so I guess this is our fault?

Senior year is easy, all the stress you get is just brought upon by yourself - whenver you'd like, you can just stop being a baby and say "I know I'm going to a good college, I'm a great person, I need to stop thinking I'm a scumbag who is going to die on the streets"

Junior year you need to get to the position to say that - senior year all thats left to do is fill out the paperwork.

Thus Junior year is the truly hardest, while Senior year is the most 'imaginary' hardest.

cross season/college apps/4 aps/arch portfolio = was a ______ (insert bad word)
