Senior Year Schedule

Hi, I was planning out the classes I was going to take senior year, but I kind of ran into a problem...I'm stuck with one whole period for the whole year, and I don't know what to take. My options are: a science course or to be on my school newspaper again (with probably a leading role.)

If I don't take the science course, then I would've only completed three years of science in high school and I know most elite schools like to see four years of science, english, and math.

But science has nothing to do with what I want to study. I'm really considering getting an English Major (writing and reading and all that fun stuff is my passion), and then possibly going on to law school. So would taking up a lead role in the newspaper be better?

Also, I really don't like science :p and newspaper would be way more fun, but isn't four years of science important or something?

Colleges like to see depth in an area you particularly like. It puts you apart from similar applicants.

Do the newspaper. Three years of science is fine. Do what you are passionate about!

Okay thanks! I was kind of leaning towards the newspaper too… :)
