Senior schedule...fourth year of science vs. fourth year of language?

Hi everyone,

I need your advice on my senior year schedule. Below are the classes I've taken and the grades I've earned.

Freshman
Biology
Honors Geometry
Honors English 9
Creative Writing
Year 1 PE
Spanish 1

Sophomore
Chemistry
Honors Algebra II/Trigonometry
Honors English 10
Journalism (was a staff writer)
Spanish II
AP World History

Junior
Physics
Math Analysis with Trigonometry (Pre-Calculus)
AP English Language
AP US History
Spanish III
Advanced Journalism (was News Editor)

Here is where I need your help...

Senior
Statistics or AP Calculus AB?
AP English Literature
AP Government and College-Prep Economics or AP Economics?
AP Art History (need a year of a visual art to graduate)
Independent PE (need another year of PE to graduate)
AP Biology or AP Environmental Science or AP Spanish Language or Spanish IV

I have always been drawn to the humanities and language -- I really love English and Spanish -- but I am considering a career in science (health care, veterinary medicine, or maybe something related to the environment) among other options (many in the humanities). Although I do want to check out the sciences a bit more, I love Spanish and I would rather not give it up in favor of another year of science unless it is strongly recommended.

What combination of classes would you recommend I take senior year? Should I take another year of science over another year of Spanish?

I was thinking of this schedule... Any thoughts?
Statistics
AP English Literature
AP Government and AP Economics
AP Art History
Independent PE
Spanish IV

Thanks for any advice you can offer!

Take calc and spanish (preferably AP but its up to you). You have the basic sciences down, but you really should take calc if you wish to perhaps study the sciences. Other than that, it looks good :)

For most selective colleges, your science requirements are covered by a year each of bio, chem, and physics. While there are only a handful the require/recommend 4 years of a foreign language, that scenario is more common than requiring 4 years of science. So, I’d suggest continuing with Spanish.

That said, I’d also suggest Calc AB over statistics.
