Senior Year Scheduling?

I need some insight on what classes I should take for Senior Year. I do not want my summer to be overly busy but I also want the school year to go as smoothly as possible for the first two quarters.

Option 1:
1- Wind Ensemble
2- AP Calculus BC
3- AP Calculus BC/AP Physics C
4- AP Physics C (I Have No Experience In Physics so I am forced to take an Online AP Class over the summer)
5- AP English Literature and Composition
6- Science Research 4/GYM
7- AP Comparative Government and Politics
8- AP Psychology (Ties along with Neuroscience/Behavior)
9- Jazz Improvisation

Option 2:
1- Wind Ensemble
2- English Literature and Composition
3- AP Calculus BC/GYM
4- AP Calculus BC
5- AP Chemistry (Regular Chem Background; Honors is not offered at our school)
6- AP Chemistry
7- AP Comparative Government and Politics
8- AP Physics 1
9- AP Physics 1
Independent Science Research

I have noticed that all the colleges on my list offer Credit for AP Chem while some only offer credit for AP Psych. I have also realized that Colleges can offer you the same amount of credits for Physics 1 (Score of 4 or 5) as it would for Physics C (E&M + Mech) (Score of 4 or 5). The AP Classes I have completed up until my senior year are AP Bio, APES, AP Stats, APUSH, WHAP, AP Lang.
I want to be a neuroscience major (minor in musical performance) along a pre-med track.
Thank you.

I would DEFINITELY recommend the Phys C pathway, though I would also recommend that you do a little summer reading (if not already required) and come into that class knowing what a derivative is. I am in Phys C this year having no previous Physics background (other than Physical Science in 7th grade ) and am doing fine in the class.

From what I have heard from my Phys 1 friends, we actually have to cover LESS content in Phys C: Mech and the emphasis is a little more on the math (which is my strong suit – I took Calc BC the year before).

I think it depends on what the common pathway is in your school. If almost everyone in your class has taken an intro Physics course before this, you’re most likely going to struggle in that class if you go without any previous experience in Physics, because your teacher will probably skip a lot of the introductory stuff and go at a faster pace because they expect everyone to already know some parts, and you should probably take Physics 1 instead. However, if the Physics C course has mostly students for whom this is their first course, you should be fine.
