Right now I'm taking Chemistry and Linear algebra at a CSU. Im going to try and get credit transfered to I can skip out of Chem 1A. Since this is second semester of senior year, grades are not as high as a priority to me as a year ago. Im wondering, as long as I pass the classes, is there anything negative that could happen if I get bad grades in the class, like a B or even a C. Will these grades be counted towards anything, or could berkeley say I have to take Chem 1A over again because I got a B in a CSU chemistry class. Is there any motivation to getting a good grade in the class.

if your major is impacted and either class is a prerequisite, its grade will be taken into consideration for admission into that major. also, if/when you apply to graduate school, they will want transcripts for ALL your college coursework, not just that you completed at berkeley
