Senior year was incredibly overrated

There, I said it.

don't worry, freshman year of college [face_mischeif]

My senior year has not been easy or fun. It's been full of drama and stress.

senior year blew

same...it's annoying how everybody says senior year is the pinnacle of your life. I suppose if you're not going to college or you have a really sad life, then maybe..

So was the freshman year of high school. My worst year of schooling ever.

i have pretty low expectations for senior year next year.
i just hope college won't give me the same type of letdown because i've been looking forward to it since 9th grade.

I just woke up from prom which was pretty fun. But besides that yeah senior year is overhyped.

I'd also like to add making out as another completely overrated facet of high school life.

For me, freshman year was better than junior year.

Senior year was my worst year and I hope that next year is better.

Not a senior, but I don't expect senior year to be great. High school hasn't gotten better or worse yet for me. It's at a constant "alright".

I can't wait to leave.

junior year was absolutely horrible, with seemingly everything going wrong. i hope senior year is the exact opposite.

hmmmm, my senior year was pretty great...

Maybe you guys don't know how to have fun...
Senior year has been awesome for me...I've never worked on hw, or paid attention in class and i have a 4.04 gpa as of now. My teachers have all mellowed out, not to mention prom, homecoming, school trips, etc. Weekends are 100% work free, plenty of time to relax on school nights...I don't know what you guys are complaining about. Junior year, for me, was hell.

Junior year was the best for me. I had the hardest classes but managed to do no work and still pull at 4.5 for the year.

Senior year is FULL of homework, projects, etc. My counseling department blows and basically couldn't put me into an AP class that I did a ton of summer assignments for, so I already knew that it was going to suck. Then I got put in regular lit instead of AP (another counseling mishap) which was boring and tons of busy work. Also, all my friends have cars and I don't, and I live far away from everyone so no one wanted to drive me, so I basically didn't go out ever because I didn't have transportation. Grah.

i agree firewalker. i graduate today, i will probably cry. i'll miss everyone so much. although this is so cliche, high school has been so great (not the best years of my life, but definitely awesome)!!!! i'm glad i didn't get too consumed with the college process to actually have fun. as a matter of fact, i didn't start thinking about college until junior year. this summer will definitely be hella fly.

SENIORS '06 w00t!!!!!!!

CONGRATS to everyone who survived the 12 years of schooling!

"as we go on, we remember all the times we had together,
and as our lives change from whatever, we will still be friends forever"

that vitamin c song makes me so nostalgic. i will probably go cry for a bit and then prepare for graduation...

cya later kids!!

All three of my years in high school have been crap; this year was just part of an oscillating trend at the bottom of everything.

firewalker: exact same for me. it was a good time, though now i just want school to be OVER! it's so easy there's almost no point...
but senior year was definitely not a let-down.
