My classes I signed up for senior year(next yr) are
AP Physics C
AP Computer science principles
AP Calc AB
AP Statistics
English twelve honors
----Considering switching out ONE class for the AP one from these two-----
US History HN (currently chosen) or AP Gov
Spanish 5 honors (currently chosen) or AP Spanish
Taking ap gov or ap spanish might give my gpa a boost as well as giving me college credit from the ap test
Honestly, I sort of feel like my course load for next year is a little too easy without taking another AP, but I also feel adding another AP might make it too difficult. I don’t know how much time you seniors had for classwork combined with college applications so I wanted to see if taking another AP is worth it.
Physics C might give me some trouble, but from what I hear, at least at my school, most of the class ends up getting A’s because the teacher just curves everything and grades easy to compensate for the high difficulty.
AP principles is a joke?
Calc AB i think will just be like an honors course? I’m doing well in precalc HN right now and from what I heard that makes Calc AB a lot easier.
AP Stat- i don’t think it’ll be too much work or have that much difficulty if I’m already kind of strong in math?
English 12 honors- basic class, not really much homework
AP gov? this was an easy A-/A till now, but my school is making it a lot harder next year because of that. I’m mainly concerned if adding it in will give me so much more reading to do for homework that I’m overwhelmed. Not really interested in government though.
AP spanish? I'm doing good in spanish 4, but again just dont know if AP spanish will give me so much more work that I'm overwhelmed. I don't know too much about the class but I hear it's mainly just essays at my school/
Basically I want to know if taking another AP is a good idea/manageable with my current schedule + having more time for college apps(don’t know how much time I need for this), or if college apps do take loads of time I should just go with my current schedule. I don’t want to have too easy of a senior year
