Senioritis anyone?

why would you assume that Baelor? The colleges aren't going to see anything past first semester grades until long after they make their decisions.

Yeah, except for wait-listed students, where the school might request transcripts from the school for post-first semester work.

Oh, i see what you mean. I thought you meant that slacking off now might cause you to get waitlisted, which it wouldn't since the college won't see it. But, yes, if you do get waitlisted, then the college can ask for third-quarter grades, in which case slacking off now would prevent you from getting in off the waitlist.

amc, nice midyear report.....;).

lol. I managed to pull them up to A's by the end of the quarter... but still.... I don't do homework at home anymore, only in the class before the one in which its due. I haven't studies for a test all year. I come home from school, take a 4 hr nap, wake up at 8, do nothing until 3, go to sleep, be delusional in school, come home again, fall asleep at 4 again, wake up at 9 again, watch House, then watch Law and Order (I have to watch the whole way through), then go to sleep, then go to school and take a test, then come home, stay awake till 7, then fall asleep at 7:30, then wake up at 7 and go to school, then my circadian rhythm is fixed. Then I go on to collegeconfidetial.com

My user name.

Oh god, I have senioritis except I'm valedictorian too sooooooo I do have to keep A+'s but GAHHHHHHHHHHHH I DUNN WANNA DO MAH WOOORK.

:(

i've had senioritis since 7th grade.

grrr....being valedictorian kind of SUCKS BALLS because i feel more pressure to keep up my grades (valedictorian at my school = anyone w/straight A's and enough AP's), but some of my grades have seen like a 5% drop from equivalent classes last year....last semester i got straight A's, but i had all my easy classes then. The more work intensive ones are this semester.

^
That is an absurdly low bar for "Valedictorian."

Just saying.

Senioritis is a beautiful thing. I went from straight A's at the midyear to 4 B's and 2 A's this second semester. And I do not care, at all. Yay!

I suffered from early onset senioritis. It takes people in middle school and it's quite tragic.
It doesn't help being friends with seniors before senior year. They bring you down.

Oh, i completely agree, Amadeuic.

My school likes to pump out community college drop outs, so the bar is set pretty low with everything.

Still, it's a title to work towards that provides motivation to not just say ***** it, and give up on all schoolwork.

I've been looking out for signs of senioritis...still not seeing any. O the prospect of summer!

senioritis for me = instead of doing homework, planning out what im going to do for fun in my classes the next day :)
