Hi I'm a senior who's applying Harvard RD.
I'm taking three classes this semester (that is the max # of classes for our school's weird "block schedule" of finishing a regular school's year long classes in half of a year)
Anyhow, I managed to get straight As in SPANISH 4, AP ENGLISH LIT and AP STATS on the first "semester" (or quater in regular school system)
However, I'm currently working on the second "semester" grades for the same classes, but I'm getting an A in Spanish 4, B in AP English Lit and B- in Statistics... (this is just progress report, and real grade will come out next january...)
Would these two grades hurt me if I had been a 90% A and 10% B student so far?
How importantly does Harvard look at the midyear report of 1(possibly 2) A and 2 Bs for admitting a student??

I haven't gotten anything higher than a B+ in over two years of history and I got accepted.

hey can u PM ur stats for me to get the idea?
Thanks

Which ones? SAT scores? I can put that junk on here if you want, haha, I don't care.

um/....
here: GPA: W, UW, SAT I, II , Major ECs and your "hook" (you must have a hook other than academic one..to be accepted by harv? lol)

Funny, I'm in that same exact situation. B+ last year and B+ thus far this year.

OK I'll just PM that.

terra, by the way, I didn't say I got nothing worse than a B+. I got a C one term and I've had mostly solid B's I think.

My problem is that I'm bad at rote memorization. I struggle with names, dates, etc.
