I'm accepted to college.

What's worse, I'm accepted to the college that I will be attending - I'm done applications.

I'm still in 5 APs but all I can think about is going to college. How do I get through this year?

Lucky man.

Just try. You don’t have to get straight A’s, but do your best every day and you’ll be fine.

I can’t wait to feel like that…once I get accepted to colleges I’ll be happy to let my grades drop one letter grade. No big deal, right?

I mean the issue isn’t my grades. I still have straight As. It’s just sitting in class thinking “why am I here?” “can’t I just be in college already?” It’s frustrating. I just want the year to end.

Haha I was in an AP Physics B class with a bunch of seniors last year and thats pretty much exactly what they’d say every day. All of them were geniuses who basically gave up on school. Even the valedictorian started wearing sweats and slides to school…

I have a feeling that this year is gonna be a loooong one. Ugh

I don’t have an answer, but I feel the same way. I had an opportunity to graduate last year a year early and I didn’t. Now, I am just trying to survive. Every day feels like “when is this going to end?” My issue is more with my social life (or lack thereof) which makes me unwilling to do the work I need to get done. My advice would be to try and appreciate your friends and stuff that you won’t get to see once you go off to college. Also, since you are already accepted you can maybe take some more risks and go out a little more often with your friends.

That’s great that you’re commited already! Just think that if you do well in the aps that you’re in then you can get college credit
