SENIORs 08' who took Oct. SAT and thinking of retaking it on Dec.for the last time!!!

I took SAT today, and I don;t even remember how I did, the room was feezing cold and I got sick. it was horrible. anyways, any seniors out there who's thinking of retaking SAT on December for the last time?

since we have 2 months to study, what are LAST study plan? (yes..it's the time time we can take the SAT..........)

you cant take the December SAT. Colleges won't accept it. Go Nov.

It depends. Some colleges have deadlines as far as Feburary, from what I have seen.

As for me, I am torn between taking the SAT I or more SAT II's on December. SAT II's would mean a higher physics score, but I won't get the 800 I always wanted in the SAT I math... T-T

what is your SAT I composite score?

Me?

Math: 680
Critical Reading: 700
Writing: 650

That's from 11th grade. I know for a fact my math went up at least 40 points this time (and with luck, maybe even 70 points) but I don't know about the rest.

yeah, december is usually fine for RD. the deadline is around jan 15th, so we will have our scores by then.

im probably taking the subject tests in nov, and the normal sat in dec.

I signed up for November just in case!

Btw, if i take it again in November, that would make it three times. is that generally not a good idea? I'm applying to mostly the upper tier schools if that helps you.

three is okay. dont worry about it. if you keep improving, youre fine.

I know I did better on my math and writing sections: but here's the thing. I was doing one of the reading sections (section 6 I think), and I realize that when I skipped one of them, I forgot to skip the bubble and I just kept filling them in. I realized this right as the guy called time for the section, so about twenty of my answers (which I felt I got right) were automatically wrong. It's gonna rape my CR score. After I realized that, I just gave up and was less motivated. So I probably did a little better on my Math and writing sections, but my reading score is going to probably be in the 500's or 400's.

I was kicking ass too...

WOW i feel sooooooo bad for you.

are you going to cancel? maybe you should. you could retake in november, right?

if you didnt even improve that much in math and writing, i would cancel.

I wouldn't cancel the score, I would just wait for the result, and sign up retaking the SAT on Nov. or on Dec.

yeah, but thats like an entire section wrong. not just a few problems. and she said she didnt even improve that much on math and writing. i would cancel.

im probably included in this, study plans = actually study this time.

I started messing up the order of my grid-ins. Good thing I noticed it right away.

Do colleges really care how many times you take the SAT if you keep improving each time?

u guys are creeping me out lol. i hope i didnt mess anything up. grid ins..... it went across right?

haha i felt bad for a girl in my testing room today, we were supposed to be doing section 2, during the break time, i saw she had 4 all done instead...

this girl in my testing room was like, "why arent there any analogy questions?"

lol... did grid ins go across???

There were like hundreds of people complaining that the math section was hard. I really thought it was much easier than the CR/writing sections -_-. Like 95% of the problems were plug-ins.

hey guys the Grid ins go across rite??? omg can someone confirm
