Seniors Class of 2006 acceptances

AndreaMSkate: Yeah, the dates that colleges notify applicants of acceptances/rejections seem really arbitrary. I'll have to take back what I said in my previous post, since I noticed that BC (for example) has sent out both acceptance and rejection letters at the same time. I'm still waiting to hear from most of my schools... What's your first choice?

Williams...I'm unsure of my chances though.

My son just got accepted at Univ of Pittsburgh and Bentley College today.

He was previously accepted at Indiana, Purdue, and Oregon (all of these are rd)

Still waiting on Fordham and NYU (both rd)

I was waitlisted from washington university in st.Louis. I was wondering just how many people they accept from this waitlist.

Well, i got into Saint Louis University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Univerisity of Illinois U-C, Auburn University, Purdue University, and University of Southern California.
All RD (Questbridge Finalist)
Rejection from Olin College of Engineering (only takes 80 kids)
Still waiting on big schools (Ivyies, stanford, etc.)

I got into UNC-Chapel Hill.

Rice, MIT, Caltech. Waiting on Harvard and Johns Hopkins.

Bentley, Bryant, UVM, CU Boulder

UCR, UCI, UCLA, UCSD, USC, Boston U...

dusk123: How did u hear from BU already? Did u apply early?

rheasilvia congragulations on your acceptance to MIT. Good luck on Harvard.

early action, yeah...

Oh, ok... Congratulations!!

Thanks! But I'm probably not going...

Oh, that's what I thought. I just meant congrats on getting into all those schools! Is USC ur first choice?

No. The school's really pretty and its got some nice programs but the surrounding neighborhood is crap... plus my parents are already freaking out about me wanting to go to UCSD which is located in a completely wonderful area...

I completely agree. USC is definitely a wonderful school, but I want to be able to walk around (safely) without having to depend on a car. I really like UCSD too. During my walking tour last year, my guide said that some of the buildings were actually used in episodes of Star Trek...not that I've seen any (lol) but it's still kinda cool.

Northwestern University class of 2010, Anyone else going there? Do you guys have a roommate, or do you think random roommates would be good?

Northeastern, heck yes!

northwestern is out?
